Hello again everybody, today we're going to talk about motion on digital billboards. Here at Rush Hour Digital Marketing we've discovered a new way to make motion on a digital billboard using still images and not .gif, .avi or other motion formats. We believe the way we do it is less distracting than an actual motion picture playing a video ad, but far more eye catching than a static display for 5 seconds. As of now; we call this new idea "pop motion" because it's not actual motion, it just keeps "popping" up new images that catch potential customers eyes constantly, creating a better, more appealing advertisement. Full video advertisements kind of make people want to watch the whole video for some reason; whether it be OCD impulses or they just want to see what happens next. Granted this is better for branding, but is bad for local insurance companies who have to cover the cars that get destroyed because of your videos. This new concept of "pop motion" advertising, we believe, is less distracting because it's semi-predictable. People will look at the advertisement because it's moving, they brand the advertisement into their minds quickly then quickly look back at the road and pay attention to driving again. This makes this form of advertising perfect for roadside digital billboards.
